Chrystal Elkhouri Gardiman
Spent my weekend at the farm encapsulated by this memoir. I could not put this book down no matter how hard I tried. It went everywhere with me. I knew I was seriously addicted when I caught myself lying to my husband who woke up in the middle of the night to find I wasn’t asleep next to him. He knocked on the bathroom door ‘babe how long have you been in there? Come to bed’. Embarrassed to admit the real reason I was in there, I replied ‘I’m coming babe, just have a sore tummy.’ I had spent an hour in there unable to resist another page from turning. Completely enveloped, this book took over me and I didn’t care. I was hooked.
Thank you Marcia Abboud for sharing your rawness and writing a magnificent piece of work that allowed me in to your world.
I surprisingly found myself relating to this book in so many unexpected ways. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next!
